One More Time, is this the best Blink album ever?

The answer to that question, is I'm not sure! For me, Take Off Your Pants and Jacket holds an incredibly special place in my heart. It was one of the first CDs I ever bought, and I played it to death!

One More time is the first album with Mark, Tom and Travis since Neighbourhoods in 2011, which opened with Ghost on the Dance Floor. Which I think maybe one of their greatest openers ever!

If like me when you first heard Edging you thought this is cool, but something was missing, you be happy to hear this is one of the weaker songs on the album. There are so many better songs, I kind of wished they had released a different lead single to really show us what this album is made of.

Straight away this album contains some of the best songs Blink have ever written. More Than You Know, is a top tier song! But nothing compares to One More Time, if your heart doesn’t break every time Mark sings I wish they told us, it shouldn't take a sickness or airplanes falling out the sky... What on earth is wrong with you!? Some of the most heartbreaking lyrics I've heard in a very long time!

There are clear influences from all of their other projects, from Box Car Racer to Angels and Airwaves from the song structures to the production, but this is welcomed, this is Blink at their finest. They have showed maturity on this album along with their childish teenage humour, it is the perfect mix of getting older but still enjoying every moment you have with your best friends.

I was gutted to have missed the live shows in the UK, but I keep hearing rumours of a Reading/Leeds headline slot which would be awesome!

After listening to One More Time countless times now, is it as good as TOYPAJ? Maybe, maybe not, but its defiantly one of their best albums and hopefully we still have many more to come.

Enema of the state is to me what TOYPAJ is to you, love every track and up there with my all time favourite albums. This is a good effort.

I must admit though, my stone cold heart isn't feeling the title track after a few listens. I get the sentiment but I find myelf waiting for something with a bit more guts to kick in.
