Unfortunately that time has finally come, in the back of my mind I've been expecting this for a while, but Ozzy is stopping touring.
Ozzy is one of the founding fathers of alternative music, what Black Sabbath did and what he continued to do as a solo artist will be very hard to rival. He is the true embodiment of a legend.
I never saw Ozzy as a solo artist but I did catch Black Sabbath twice, as Ozzy says in his statement below, his voice is still on point, which both times I saw them he was flawless, but its his physical health which is stopping him.
I have nothing but love for Ozzy, its heartbreaking for him that his touring days aren't going out on his own terms, but as he says they are looking at ways of still performing, so fingers crossed.
Whatever the future holds for Ozzy I just hope its a healthy one! Now its time to dig out my copy of Bark at the Moon and play it on repeat today!
