Sunday night saw a roadtrip up the motorway for the absolute legends that are Thirty Seconds to Mars!
Despite an unfortunate reschedule due to filming schedule clashes and things out of their control, this has still been a tour that plenty of people have been looking forward to!
The last time Thirty Seconds to Mars were in the UK doing a headline tour was 2018! So this was an absolute treat!
Let's firstly address the elephant in the room, everyone has seen the now infamous videos on Tiktok of half sold crowds and empty seats for this tour. From my perspective, although it wasn't a sold out crowd it absolutely wasn't as bad as people have been making out!
Jagwar Twin was the support for this run, you may well know of him as one of his songs in particular has gone viral on tiktok in the last year!
I believe this is one of his first tours on this side of the Pond, and although he wasn't for me. He got the crowd going and I was definitely in the minority! But, that's the beauty of music!
The show from start to finish was visually absolutely beautiful!
They make great use of graphics on their screen behind them in their signature triangle shape, and have plenty of balloons, confetti and even fire! Seeing Jared Leto playing with a flame thrower was not on my bucket list for last night!
A great set overall with plenty of old classics for the long term fans mixed in with the newer hits like stuck!
I really liked them getting fans up on stage and the crowd definitely enjoyed Jareds interactions. Especially his running down into the crowd!
Overall a great night and I really hope we see these guys back on our shores sooner rather than later!
